These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website and services provided by Ark Home Inspection ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing our website or scheduling a service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services Provided
Ark Home Inspection offers residential and commercial property inspections, including but not limited to:
- General Home Inspections
- Pre-listing Inspections
- Well & Septic Inspections
- Radon and Mold Testing
- WDI (Termite) Inspections
- Sewer Scoping
- Air Particle Testing
- Commercial Property Inspections
Our inspectors follow applicable state guidelines and industry standards (such as InterNACHI or ASTM) to deliver detailed and unbiased inspection reports.
2. Scheduling and Payment
- Inspection appointments can be booked through our website, phone, or email.
- Payment is due in full at the time of service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Accepted forms of payment include credit/debit card, check, or electronic transfer.
- Cancellations require at least 24 hours’ notice. No-shows or late cancellations may incur a fee.
3. Inspection Limitations
Our inspections are non-invasive and visual only. We inspect components that are readily accessible at the time of the appointment. We do not guarantee the future performance or lifespan of systems or components.
Inspections do not include:
- Code compliance verification
- Invasive testing (e.g., opening walls or ceilings)
- Environmental hazards not specified (e.g., asbestos, lead paint, etc.)
- Specialty inspections unless specifically requested (e.g., pool, chimney, etc.)
4. Reports and Findings
- Inspection reports are typically delivered within 24–48 hours.
- Reports are provided for informational purposes only and are not to be considered warranties or guarantees.
- It is the client’s responsibility to read and understand the report and follow up with qualified contractors when necessary.
5. Client Responsibilities
- Ensure the inspector has full access to the property, including basements, attics, garages, and utility rooms.
- Secure pets or occupants that may interfere with the inspection.
- Disclose known issues or hazards that may pose a safety risk to the inspector.
6. Liability and Disclaimers
- Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the inspection service.
- We are not responsible for concealed defects, future failures, or damages arising from conditions not observable at the time of inspection.
- Use of our website or services does not create a warranty, either express or implied.
7. Website Use
All content on this website is the property of Ark Home Inspection. You may not copy, distribute, or misuse any part of this website without prior written permission.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio. Any disputes will be handled in the courts of Summit County, Ohio.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes have been posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
